A weekly meal plan and grocery list, built around your week

Tell Olive who is eating, what you like and how busy each night is. You get a week of dinners and one grocery list, grouped by aisle, that you can actually shop from.

Sample result

A sample week: dinners for two, under 30 minutes on weeknights

The request
Plan dinners for two this week. No mushrooms. Weeknights under 30 minutes; Saturday can be more involved. We loved the sheet-pan salmon last time.

What Olive does

  • Plans dinners, and lunches if you want them, around your schedule, tastes and budget.
  • Reuses ingredients across the week so less goes to waste.
  • Builds one grocery list grouped by store section, leaving off what you already have.
  • Remembers favourites and rotates them back in, and moves meals around when plans change.

What Olive won’t do

  • Does not order groceries or pay for anything; you shop from the list.
  • Does not prescribe a diet or plan around a medical condition. For that, talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian.
  • Cannot read product labels. Check allergens on the packaging yourself.

How it works

  1. Share your week

Busy nights, people at the table, appliances, budget and anything you never want to see again.

  2. Review the plan

Olive drafts the week with prep times. Swap anything you do not fancy and the plan rebalances.

  3. Shop from one list

The list comes grouped by aisle with quantities, and leftovers are planned into later meals.

Questions

Can it plan for a family with picky eaters?

Yes. Tell Olive who eats what, and it plans shared bases with easy add-ons, such as tacos, rice bowls and build-your-own pasta, so you cook once.

Does it work with my grocery store?

The list is grouped by typical store sections with common pack sizes. Olive does not place orders; copy the list into your store’s app or take it with you.

Can it hit specific calorie or macro numbers?

Olive plans balanced, varied meals but does not set calorie or macro targets. If a clinician has given you a meal plan, follow it, and Olive can still help with the shopping and the schedule.

What happens when plans change mid-week?

Tell Olive, and it moves meals around, reuses what you already bought and updates the list for the rest of the week.
