Connecting your Hostfully account

ProhostAI connects to Hostfully with an API key from your Hostfully account. You paste the key into ProhostAI once, and your listings, reservations and guest messages start syncing.

Before you start

Make sure you have:

• An active Hostfully account with at least one listing
• A ProhostAI account (you can sign up here if you haven't yet)
• Access to Agency Settings in Hostfully, where the API key is managed

Connect Hostfully

In ProhostAI, go to Listings → Add listings → Add connection → Hostfully. If you are setting up a new workspace, the onboarding step Connect Hostfully account shows the same form.

In a new tab, sign into Hostfully and open Agency Settings. The direct URL is:

https://platform.hostfully.com/app/#/agency-settings

In Agency Settings, find the API access section and generate a new API key or copy your existing one.

Switch back to ProhostAI, paste the key into the API Key field, then click Connect. Your listings will be imported. Depending on your listing count, this can take several minutes to finish.

You are all set! You will start seeing AI memories populated in your account as the AI reads your past messages and learns about your listings and hosting rules.

What syncs automatically

Once connected, ProhostAI keeps the following in sync with Hostfully:

• Listings — property details, photos, amenities, descriptions
• Reservations — bookings, check-in / check-out dates, guest information, pricing
• Messages — guest conversations across the channels you've connected to Hostfully
• Calendar — availability and blocked dates

You don't need to import anything manually after the initial connection — new reservations and messages flow into ProhostAI in near real time.

Troubleshooting

My API key is rejected.

• Confirm the key was copied in full — Hostfully API keys are long, and trailing whitespace or a partial copy is the most common cause.
• Verify the key is active in Agency Settings → API access. If it was revoked or rotated, generate a new one and paste it into ProhostAI.
• If you can't find API access in Agency Settings, your Hostfully plan may not include API access — contact Hostfully support to enable it.

My listings aren't all showing up.

• Only active Hostfully properties are imported. Archived or hidden properties won't sync.
• If you've added a new property in Hostfully after connecting, click Import Listings in ProhostAI to pick it up.
